Khmer-Chinese Teacher ( Russey Keo Campus)

1. ES Chinese Classes
Teach Chinese sessions per week for each ES class, in coordination with the main Chinese teacher.
Conduct practice-focused lessons to reinforce the content taught by the Chinese teacher.
Help students review and consolidate Chinese vocabulary, grammar, sentence structures, and other language skills.
Provide clear explanations in Khmer and Chinese when students have difficulty understanding the lesson.
Support students who need additional guidance or practice.
Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
2. Support the Chinese Teacher
Work closely with the Chinese teacher to plan and coordinate lessons and learning activities.
Assist with preparing teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.
Help check and correct students' homework, classwork, and practice activities.
Monitor students' progress and identify students who may need additional support.
Communicate with the Chinese teacher about students' learning progress, difficulties, and areas for improvement.
Support classroom management and student engagement when needed.
3. Student Learning and Learning Outcomes
Help ensure that students understand and can apply the Chinese language knowledge taught in class.
Provide additional practice and explanation for students who have not fully understood the lesson.
Work together with the Chinese teacher to monitor student progress and ensure that students are meeting the expected learning outcomes.
Provide timely feedback to students and the Chinese teacher regarding learning gaps or concerns.
Encourage students to develop confidence and interest in learning Chinese.
4. Chinese Department Support
Participate in relevant Chinese department meetings and activities.
Assist with departmental administrative and academic tasks as assigned.
Support the Chinese teacher with assessment preparation, marking, record keeping, and other academic responsibilities.
Contribute ideas and support activities that improve the effectiveness of the Chinese language program.
