Fire Safety Engineer (Supervisor)
We are looking for Fire Safety Engineer (Supervisor), the successful candidate will supervise fire protection system installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and site activities. This is a hands-on engineering role involving site supervision, technical coordination, and management of technicians and subcontractors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise daily fire protection installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning works.
- Manage and coordinate technicians, workers, and subcontractors at project sites.
- Ensure all works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and company's quality standards.
- Supervise installation of:
+ Fire sprinkler systems
+ Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
+ Fire pump systems
+ Fire alarm and detection systems
+ Clean agent and special fire suppression systems
- Inspect site works and identify defects, incomplete works, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, MEP contractors, and other site teams.
- Review engineering drawings and assist with practical site coordination.
- Prepare daily or weekly site progress reports.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site works.
- Verify materials delivered to site against specifications and quantities.
- Supervise system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Assist with fire pump, sprinkler, hydrant, and fire alarm testing.
- Ensure defects and outstanding works are rectified before project handover.
- Maintain testing, inspection, and commissioning records.
- Ensure technicians follow proper safety and working procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
- Report technical problems, delays, safety concerns, and client issues to management.
- Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for existing customers.
- Attend emergency service or troubleshooting works when required.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Good command of spoken and written English is required.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in fire protection engineering are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in fire protection, MEP, mechanical services, or construction will have an advantage.
- Able to read and understand mechanical engineering and MEP drawings.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, piping systems, valves, pressure, and water systems.
- Knowledge or experience in fire sprinkler, hydrant, and fire pump systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards is highly preferred; training can be provided.
- AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and prepare basic technical reports.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate professionally with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors in English.
- Willing to work at project sites and travel within Cambodia when required.
- Valid driving license is an advantage.
