Operations Manager (Construction Materials)
We are looking for Operations Manager who is responsible for overseeing daily marble quarrying, production, logistics, and export operations while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role also supports business growth through market research, business development initiatives, and coordination with JV partners, authorities, and clients to achieve operational and financial objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations in quarrying, cutting, polishing, finishing, and packaging of marble
- Manage and Coordinate with our JV Partner on all mining matters including export forecast, site coordination, exports operations, all authorities clearance, etc.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines.
- Monitor machinery, equipment, and workforce efficiency to ensure productivity
- Handle logistics and shipment of marble products, including coordination with transport companies, customs, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and workplace procedures.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, finished products, and spare parts for continuous production flow.
- Research new business opportunities within the marble and stone industry, including construction and property development sectors, by conducting feasibility studies and preparing business plans.
- Identify market needs, trends, and propose product diversification or expansion plans.
- Prepare product development proposals and coordinate with management for approval.
- Support business growth by proposing marketing strategies, campaigns, and budgets for marble products
- Liaison with Authorities
- Analyze market data and provide short- and long-term forecasts and reports to management
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing and managing operational and business development budgets, monitoring expenditures, and initiating corrective actions when required
- Provide regular reports to the General Manager on both operational performance and business development activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by top management.

- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in the marble, stone, or construction materials industry
- Experience in handling logistics, shipment, and delivery of products is an advantage
- Proven experience in business development, market research, or client-focused initiatives is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Fluent in English and Chinese with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Honest, reliable, and committed to confidentiality with strong attention to detail
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, balancing operational duties with business development tasks
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in the marble, stone, or construction materials industry
