Farm Machinery Operations Manager
• Oversee daily deployment of tractors, harvesters, loaders, irrigation systems, and transport vehicles.
• Align machinery scheduling with plantation production plans (cashew harvesting cycles, rubber tapping support, cassava harvesting windows, bamboo cutting schedules).
• Ensure machinery availability during peak seasonal periods.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Monitor machine uptime, breakdown frequency, and repair turnaround time.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and manage workshop operations.
• Implement equipment lifecycle planning and replacement strategy.
• Improve mechanization efficiency in:
- Land clearing & soil preparation
- Fertilizer and pesticide application
- Irrigation system operations
- Crop transport logistics
• Evaluate new agricultural technologies to increase yield and reduce labor dependency.
• Prepare annual machinery budget (fuel, lubricants, spare parts, maintenance).
• Monitor fuel consumption and reduce wastage.
• Optimise cost per hectare for mechanized operations.
• Ensure all machinery operators follow safety procedures.
• Conduct regular safety training and toolbox talks.
• Maintain compliance with Cambodian labor and environmental regulations.
• Enforce safe pesticide spraying and chemical handling practices.
• Supervise mechanics, machine operators, and field technical teams.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with HR for manpower planning and skills development.
• Build technical capability within plantation teams.
• Report monthly on:
- Machine utilization rate
- Downtime percentage
- Cost per hectare
- Fuel efficiency
- Accident rate
• Provide improvement recommendations to management.

• Technical certifications in heavy machinery operations (advantage).
• Minimum 5–8 years in agricultural or plantation machinery management.
• Experience in large-scale plantations (cashew, rubber, cassava, or similar crops preferred).
• Strong workshop management background.
• Knowledge of:
- Agricultural tractors & harvesters
- Irrigation systems
- Hydraulic & diesel engine systems
- Spare parts inventory control
• Familiar with farm management software (advantage).
• Strong leadership & decision-making ability.
• Good planning & coordination skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in remote plantation environments.
• Fluent Khmer (if the candidates can speak English is better)
