Operations Supervisor – B2B HORECA
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of KM6's B2B HORECA supply operations, from order intake through to delivery. This role covers supervising the Store Keeper, Outdoor Purchaser, Order Consolidator, Packing Team, and Delivery Team. The Operations Supervisor is expected to be hands-on, present on the floor, and accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and cost-discipline of the daily fulfillment workflow.
1. Daily Operations & Order Fulfillment
• Oversee the full order flow: order intake → stock check (dried store + cold room) → shortage list → same-day purchasing → picking → packing → delivery.
• Ensure the Order Consolidator processes orders accurately and on schedule each day.
• Review daily stock checks and shortage lists before they are released to the Outdoor Purchaser.
• Confirm picking lists match confirmed orders before handoff to the Packing Team.
2. Team Supervision
• Directly supervise and coordinate the Store Keeper, Outdoor Purchaser, Order Consolidator, Packing Team, and Delivery Team.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor attendance, and manage workload across the team.
• Conduct brief daily briefings to flag issues (shortages, delays, complaints) early.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and enforce SOPs consistently across all roles.
3. Purchasing & Cost Control
• Review and approve shortage/purchase lists before the Outdoor Purchaser executes same-day buying.
• Monitor purchase quantities and prices against requested quantities and market benchmarks.
• Support corruption-control checks: compare requested vs. purchased quantities, and carry out spot-checks as required.
• Track purchasing costs against budget and flag unusual variances to Manager.
4. Stock, Cold Room & Spoilage Management
• Oversee accurate maintenance of the cold room in/out log and dried store stock records.
• Monitor stock status dashboards to prevent stockouts and reduce spoilage.
• Support execution of the cold-room storage and bulk-purchasing strategy to reduce spoilage and improve COGS.
5. Delivery & Customer Service
• Monitor Delivery Team performance: on-time delivery, order accuracy.
• Address and escalate customer complaints related to order fulfillment or delivery.
• Coordinate with the Sales function on urgent or high-priority B2B orders.
6. Reporting
• Complete and consolidate the weekly Excel reporting templates for KM6 operations.
• Report daily/weekly operational KPIs (fulfillment accuracy, spoilage, delivery performance, purchase cost variance) to the Manager.
• Proactively flag operational risks or recurring issues rather than waiting to be asked.
7. Process Improvement
• Support consistent implementation of SOPs across all five roles under supervision.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

• At least 2–4 years of experience in operations, warehouse, supply chain, or logistics supervision.
• Experience in fresh produce, food distribution, FMCG, or HORECA supply is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience directly supervising a team of 5 or more staff, or coordinating multiple functions.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple moving parts (stock, purchasing, packing, delivery) at once.
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel — able to use and update tracking templates and read dashboards.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under time pressure.
• Clear communication skills for coordinating across teams and reporting to the Manager.
• Basic working English preferred, for reading/using reporting templates
• Integrity & accountability — trusted to oversee purchasing and stock without direct daily oversight from the Manager.
