Senior Designing Printer

1. Job Purpose
The Technical Printing & Graphic Designer is responsible for preparing artwork for printing, operating and coordinating digital printing production, ensuring accurate colors, dimensions, materials, and finishing. The position works closely with designers, production staff, and clients to
ensure all printed products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Graphic Design & Artwork Preparation
• Create and modify artwork for banners, signs, stickers, posters, labels, vehicle graphics, and other advertising materials.
• Prepare print-ready files according to production specifications.
• Check artwork dimensions, resolution, bleed, color mode, fonts, and image quality before printing.
• Convert and manage files in appropriate formats such as AI, PDF, EPS, PSD, and CDR.
• Make revisions based on client or management requirements.
• Ensure designs are accurate and suitable for the selected printing method and material.

B. Technical Printing
• Operate and monitor digital printing machines and related equipment.
• Prepare files and printing settings according to the required size, material, color, and finishing.
• Perform test prints and color checks before full production.
• Monitor printing quality and identify problems such as color variation, banding, alignment, ink issues, or material defects.
• Maintain consistent print quality throughout production.
• Coordinate with production staff for cutting, laminating, mounting, installation, and other finishing processes.

C. Production & Quality Control
• Verify measurements and quantities before production.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet approved designs and quality standards.
• Minimize material and ink waste.
• Troubleshoot basic technical problems with printing equipment and report major issues to management or technicians.
• Keep printing equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow workplace safety and equipment operating procedures.

D. Teamwork & Customer Support
• Work closely with sales, designers, production teams, and installers.
• Communicate with clients when clarification of artwork or technical specifications is required.
• Provide technical advice regarding materials, printing methods, sizes, and finishing options.
• Manage multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
