Lifeguard / Swimming Teacher ( Russey Keo)
1. Swimming Safety & Lifeguarding
Supervise the swimming pool area and ensure the safety of all swimmers.
Monitor students continuously during swimming sessions and respond promptly to emergencies.
Enforce pool safety rules and school swimming procedures.
Conduct regular checks of the pool, surrounding areas, and safety equipment.
Respond to incidents and emergencies, including providing first aid and CPR when required.
Report accidents, injuries, hazards, and safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.
Ensure appropriate student-to-lifeguard/supervisor ratios are maintained.
2. Swimming Instruction
Plan and deliver swimming lessons suitable for different ages and ability levels.
Teach swimming techniques, water safety, floating, breathing, strokes, and basic rescue skills.
Assess students’ swimming abilities and monitor their progress.
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
Provide appropriate feedback to students and communicate progress to relevant staff.
3. Pool & Equipment Management
Check swimming and safety equipment before and after each session.
Ensure equipment is properly stored and maintained.
Report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately.
Support the Facilities/Operations team in maintaining a clean and safe pool environment.
Follow all school procedures related to pool hygiene, chemical safety, and emergency response.
4. Student Safeguarding
Follow the school’s Child Safeguarding and Protection (CSP) policies and procedures.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students at all times.
Ensure changing-room, shower, and pool-area procedures comply with safeguarding requirements.
Report any safeguarding concerns immediately through the appropriate reporting channels.
5. Administration & Communication
Maintain accurate attendance and swimming assessment records.
Communicate any student safety or performance concerns to the relevant teacher or supervisor.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and emergency drills as required.
Support school swimming events, competitions, and activities when required.

职位要求
Certificate or qualification in Lifeguarding and/or Swimming Instruction.
Valid First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
Previous experience as a lifeguard, swimming instructor, PE teacher, or in a similar role.
Experience working with children or in a school environment is preferred.
Good knowledge of water safety and emergency procedures.
Good swimming ability and physical fitness.
