Tax Officer-Accountant

1. Tax Compliance
• Prepare and submit monthly, annual, and other tax declarations in accordance with Cambodian tax regulations.
• Ensure timely payment of all taxes, including VAT, Prepayment of Profit Tax (PPT), Tax on Salary (ToS), Withholding Tax (WHT), Patent Tax, Property Tax, and Annual Tax on Income (TOI).
• Monitor tax filing deadlines to ensure full compliance.
2. Tax Reporting & Reconciliation
• Prepare tax calculations and reconcile tax accounts with the accounting records.
• Verify VAT input and output reports to ensure accuracy.
• Review accounting transactions to ensure proper tax treatment.
• Maintain tax schedules and reconciliation reports.
3. Tax Documentation
• Maintain complete and organized tax records, invoices, contracts, and supporting documents.
• Ensure all tax documents comply with GDT requirements.
• Assist in preparing documents for tax audits and inspections.
4. Tax Advisory & Risk Management
• Stay updated on Cambodian tax laws, regulations, and GDT notifications.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide tax guidance to internal departments regarding transactions and business operations.
5. Audit & Government Liaison
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Support tax audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Respond to tax inquiries from the General Department of Taxation (GDT).
• Perform other duties assigned by the Accounting & Finance Manager.
