Internal Audit Supervisor

• Establishing strategy and procedures for the audit Department to undertake audit reviews and investigations on both internal and external fraud.
• Work closely with the fraud management team to set strategy to prevent and protect both internal and external and external fraud.
• Leading and managing reviews on the effectiveness, efficiency, and governance of the MFI’s activities including. E.g. business conducted, personnel, risk management, systems, operational and financial controls, performing reporting.
• Assessing and identifying improvements to control systems, procedures and governance.
• Designing/ Preparing and presenting internal audit progress reports for audit committee.
• Preparing audit plan and performing the operational and financial audit.
• Identifying business process risk.
• Developing testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy and accuracy of internal control.
• Internal control and evaluation and testing.
• Document the result of audit testing and provide the audit recommendation with effective and efficient control set up.
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of outstanding action.
• Formulating professional development and education plans for the junior staff member.
• Providing advice on internal control including interpretation of relevant policies and procedures, liaising with other internal functions and external assurance providers where required.
• Ad hoc duties / projects as assigned by Senior Management and Director.
