Manager, Insolvency & Recovery
- Lead and manage insolvency, liquidation, bank liquidation, restructuring and recovery assignments from planning through completion.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of assignments, ensuring deliverables are accurate and completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Supervise, guide and review the work of team members and provide technical support where required.
- Review and analyze financial records, assets, liabilities, loan portfolios, claims and other relevant information.
- Develop and implement appropriate recovery, asset realization and liquidation strategies to maximise
recovery outcomes.
- Oversee loan recovery, claims verification, asset realization, settlement and distribution activities.
- Review working papers, financial analysis, reports, schedules and other assignment deliverables.
- Liaise and negotiate with creditors, debtors, banks, financial institutions, legal advisers and other relevant
stakeholders.
- Lead meetings, site visits and discussions with clients and other relevant parties.
- Identify key issues, risks and recovery opportunities and provide practical recommendations to Management and clients.
- Prepare and present progress updates, findings and recommendations to clients, creditors and other
stakeholders.
- Support business development activities and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Ensure assignments comply with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards and internal policies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Management as required.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
- A professional qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent is preferred. Relevant
professional qualifications in insolvency, restructuring or recovery will be an advantage. Candidates who
have passed relevant fundamental-level papers are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in insolvency, liquidation, recovery, restructuring, audit,
accounting, banking or a related field.
- Experience in bank liquidation, loan recovery, financial institution-related assignments or corporate insolvency will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of insolvency, liquidation, restructuring, recovery and asset realization processes.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with sound professional judgement.
- Good communication, report-writing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage assignments, supervise team members and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willing to travel and conduct site visits when required.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
