Flight Dispatcher Assistant

1. Seek advice from superior to make decision significantly affecting the operational security and/or decision regarding safety risk tolerability with respect to the safety and/or security of aircraft operations;
2. Responsible for ensuring operations under their responsible areas are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and Company's policies, standards and requirements;
3. Assisting Duty Manager (DM) OCC in managing day-of-operation irregularities and disruptions;
Support Commander for operations control decisions in all phases of flight by timely provision of latest information that may affect the safety of flight;
4. Monitor all OCC communication mediums and advise DM OCC of issues that may affect flight operations and schedule;
5. Arrange overflight clearance and operating permissions with relevant authorities for ad-hoc flight re-routings and reschedules;
6. Arrange slot for non-revenue flight(s) with relevant authorities;
7. Ensure automated aircraft position feeds from airborne company aircrafts are received and captured in the electronic aircraft tracking system;
8. Initiate necessary actions to obtain aircraft tracking information when it is unavailable and notify the relevant ATC unit(s) if attempts to establish communication are unsuccessful;
9. Communicate with flight crew in events of significant deviation from flight planned routes to ensure safe operations of the flight;
10. Assist the DM OCC in activation of crisis, safety and security response procedures;
11. Compile daily management reports;
