Elementary School Teacher
Job Summary:
Responsible for instructing students in an elementary school from grade 1 to grade 6. Creates lesson plans, administers praise and constructive criticism, instructs students on subjects such as science, literature, and math, and creates a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach core subjects like math, reading, writing, science, and social studies
2. Design daily lessons and materials that meet school curriculum standards and fit diverse learning needs
3. Grade assignments, track academic progress, and prepare students for evaluations.
4. Create instructional resources for use in the classroom
5. Create lesson plans, prepare and deliver instructional activities
6. Create positive education for students to learn in
7. Meet course and school-wide student performance goals
8. Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met
9. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
10. Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
11. Meet with parents or guardians to discuss student performance, behavior, and developmental goals
12. Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, with appropriate teaching certification
- 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong classroom management and conflict-resolution abilities
- Patience, empathy, and creativity in teaching
- Familiarity with educational software and digital learning platforms
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Strong knowledge of elementary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of technology and computer skills.
▪ School’s location: Our International school will officially launch in September 2026. It is located near the 7NG Industrial Park, Viheasour Commune, Khsach Kandal District, Kandal Province.
▪ Foreign candidates: Accommodation, work permit and staying visa will be covered by the Company.
