• Develop students’ fluency in number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability, with clear progression across year levels.
• Teach mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, enabling students to structure solutions, communicate methods clearly, and apply concepts to unfamiliar contexts.
• Prepare students effectively for IGCSE examinations, including both non-calculator and calculator papers, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and method justification.
• Use effective teaching strategies such as modelling, guided practice, and targeted questioning to build both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency.
• Ensure students present work clearly, using accurate mathematical notation in line with Cambridge mark scheme expectations.
• Integrate appropriate mathematical tools and technology, including calculators and digital platforms, to enhance learning.
• Provide challenge and extension opportunities for high-achieving students, including pathways towards Additional Mathematics where appropriate.
Assessment and Progress
• Design and implement assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
