Production Supervisor

Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising IRCC's daily manufacturing operations to ensure production is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer demand.
As deputy to the Head of Production, the role supports production planning, procurement, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory control, ERP (Unleashed) management and production reporting. In the absence of the Head of Production, the Production Supervisor assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of production and warehouse operations.

* Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Operations
• Develop daily and weekly production schedules aligned with sales demand and production capacity.
• Coordinate milling, packing and food production activities to achieve quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Monitor production performance, labor utilization and downtime, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, production specifications and good housekeeping standards.
2. Procurement, Planning & S&OP
• Plan and coordinate procurement of raw materials, packaging and production consumables.
• Support the S&OP process by aligning production capacity, inventory and customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages or production risks.
• Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Finance to ensure continuity of supply.
3. ERP, Documentation & Inventory Control
• Maintain accurate production, inventory and manufacturing transactions within the Unleashed ERP system.
• Manage production orders, assemblies, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material consumption.
• Ensure production documentation, traceability records and reports are completed accurately.
• Support stock counts, inventory reconciliations and FIFO/FEFO stock control.
4. Warehouse Operations (Deputy Responsibility)
In the absence of the Head of Production:
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, material availability and ERP transaction compliance.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping, food safety and Health & Safety standards.
5. Quality, Food Safety & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, BRCGS and company quality standards.
• Support audits, investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safe working practices and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and reduce waste.
6. Team Leadership & Reporting
• Supervise, coach and develop production employees.
• Allocate daily work priorities and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prepare production reports, monitor KPIs and communicate operational performance to the Head of Production.
