**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Farm Water Management Section Manager to oversee and optimize water resource operations for our agricultural production activities. Based in Preah Vihear, this role is critical to ensuring efficient water usage, sustainability, and productivity across our farming operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in water management systems, leadership skills, and a commitment to environmentally responsible practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and monitor water management strategies to support agricultural production goals.
- Supervise the daily operations of the water management section, including irrigation systems, drainage, and water conservation initiatives.
- Coordinate with farm production teams to assess water needs and ensure adequate supply for crops and livestock.
- Maintain and repair water infrastructure, such as pumps, pipelines, and reservoirs, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitor water quality and usage, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Prepare and manage the section’s budget, including procurement of equipment and materials.
- Train and lead a team of water management staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze data on water usage and weather patterns to make informed decisions and adjustments.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, on water resource projects.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Water Resource Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water management, irrigation, or agricultural operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, water conservation techniques, and farm infrastructure.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant software for water management planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a rural setting and adapt to varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations and sustainable farming practices is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Khmer is an advantage.
