Job Description
• Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving activities at construction sites and project locations, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved project plans, technical specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules.
• Lead and coordinate the transportation and delivery of asphalt materials from the plant to project sites, ensuring timely and uninterrupted supply.
• Monitor and oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and construction tools used on active project sites.
• Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, foremen, and construction workers; monitor project progress and provide regular reports to the Project Manager and senior management.
• Assign tasks and ensure team members clearly understand their responsibilities, while providing guidance, support, and solutions to address site-related issues and challenges.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards and approved technical drawings. Enforce strict adherence to site safety regulations, warning signs, and safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Monitor and maintain inventory records, report any shortages, losses, or damages, and manage the allocation of materials, equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Prepare daily progress reports, including completed works, issues encountered, delays, and corrective actions taken. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop effective solutions and maintain project progress.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure all activities remain within the approved budget. Prepare and organize project technical documentation and drawings for submission to project management and project closeout purposes.
• Oversee and manage multiple construction sites simultaneously, depending on project requirements and company assignments.
• Develop and implement inspection schedules for both active and temporarily suspended construction sites to ensure compliance, safety, and project readiness.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
