Design Manager
Job Summary
The Design Manager leads architectural and interior design output for the company's projects. This role is responsible for controlling and reviewing drawings, evaluating design and soft concept proposals, and supervising designers and drafters to ensure all design work meets quality, technical, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee architectural and interior design work across all active projects.
• Review and control construction and design drawings for accuracy, consistency, and technical compliance.
• Evaluate and approve design and soft concept proposals before client presentation.
• Supervise, guide, and review the work of designers and drafters under direct control.
• Coordinate with project management, site, and construction teams to align design intent with execution.
• Ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule and to the required quality standard.
• Liaise with clients and consultants on design direction, revisions, and approvals.
• Mentor junior design staff and support their professional development.

• Strong proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of interior fit-out and renovation project workflows.
• Strong eye for design concept, detailing, and quality control.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage staff and liaise with clients.
