Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibility:

- Overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintaining records of transactions.
- Managing a team of warehouse workers to ensure that all orders are filled accurately and on time for the customer.
- Assigning tasks to employees based on their specific job responsibilities within the warehouse.
- Coordinating with other departments such as accounting to ensure that invoices are processed accurately.
- Scheduling overtime to meet deadlines or special projects as needed.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Support organizing and participate in stock takes at regular intervals.
- Assist in planning future capacity requirements.
- Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and carry out risk assessments while maintaining high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery, and equipment are well maintained.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
- Monitoring employee performance to ensure that targets are met, corrective action is taken when needed, and that employees receive praise when they do well.
