Chief Financial Officer
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to take full ownership of the company's finance function. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will keep our books accurate and audit-ready, find opportunities to run the business more efficiently, ensure we meet all obligations to the General Department of Taxation (GDT), and help present our performance clearly and credibly to investors.
What You'll Do
*Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date books and records for the company and its projects
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure records are organized and audit-ready at all times
*Cost Optimization
- Analyze company and project-level costs to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Recommend and implement practical methods to optimize operating and construction/project costs
- Support budgeting and monitor spending against plan across departments and projects
*Investor Relations Support
- Prepare financial materials, reports, and presentations for investor meetings
- Assist the CEO in communicating financial performance, projections, and project economics to current and prospective investors
- Ensure investor-facing figures are accurate, consistent, and professionally presented
* Tax & Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and support monthly financial statements and monthly tax declarations to the GDT
- Ensure full compliance with Cambodian tax law and filing deadlines (monthly and annual obligations)
- Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and the GDT as needed, and stay current on regulatory changes affecting real estate

- Proven CFO or Senior Finance Leadership experience within real estate, property development, property management, investment, or related industries.
- Strong accounting and financial management expertise, with the ability to maintain accurate books, oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and ensure audit-ready financial records.
- Hands-on operator mindset, comfortable managing both strategic financial leadership and day-to-day finance activities in a growing organization.
- Deep knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations and GDT compliance, including preparation of monthly and annual tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost optimization, with a track record of identifying efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Investor relations and fundraising support experience, including preparing financial reports, presentations, forecasts, and communicating financial performance to investors.
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills, capable of evaluating project economics, monitoring project costs, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Experience managing audits and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, regulators, banks, and government authorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, credible insights for executives and investors.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
