Digital Extension Specialist
- Social Media Management, Planning & Analytics
- Support the development and implementation of EWS-KT’s social media strategy across relevant platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels.
- Coordinate with country teams to ensure regular production and publication of locally relevant farmer-focused content.
- Plan digital campaigns to increase the reach and use of EWS-KT technical knowledge.
- Manage content scheduling, publishing, and quality control across platforms.
- Monitor social media performance, including reach, engagement, audience growth, video performance, and other relevant indicators.
- YouTube Management
- Manage and develop EWS-KT’s YouTube presence.
- Manage video uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists, subtitles, tags, and other channel optimization activities.
- Develop approaches to improve video discoverability, watch time, subscribers, and farmer engagement.
- Coordinate with country teams to maintain a regular pipeline of technical, educational, and farmer-focused video content.
- Website Management
- Manage and continuously improve EWS-KT’s farmer-facing website, GrowHow.
- Coordinate the publication and updating of technical guides, articles, farmer resources, videos, and other website content.
- Manage pages, links, navigation, translations, and routine website updates.
- Manage and monitor Google Analytics 4 and other relevant analytics tools.
- Digital Application Development & Management
- Coordinate the development, improvement, and management of EWS-KT farmer-facing applications and digital tools.
- Manage digital learning applications such as VeggieTap and future farmer extension tools.
- Manage EWS-KT applications through Google Play Console.
- Coordinate bug reporting, feature updates, and application maintenance with developers.
- Farmer Success Stories & Digital Storytelling
- Identify strong farmer success stories, in collaboration with country teams.
- Coordinate the collection of farmer stories, interviews, photographs, and videos from EWS-KT programs.
- Develop farmer stories for websites, social media, YouTube, and other communications channels.
- Maintain a structured repository of farmer stories and supporting photographs, videos, and information.
